June 2024 Highlights

SANGEETHOTHSAVAM 2024

NZCMS is pleased to announce our grand annual flagship event Sangeethothsavam 2024, a three-day Carnatic music festival.

Saturday 1st June 2024 at 5:00pm

A grand vocal concert by Vidwan Shri Vignesh Ishwar.

Sunday 2nd June 2024 at 5:00pm

A grand Violin duet by Sangeetha Kalanidhis' Shri Lalgudi GJR krishnan and Lalgudi Smt Vijayalakshmi.

Sunday 3rd June 2024 at 5:00pm

A grand vocal duet by Malladi Brothers, Vidwan Shri Sree Rama Prasad and Vidwan Shri Ravi Kumar.

Vocal concerts will be supported on the Violin by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Smt Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi.

All three concerts will be supported on the Mridangam by Vidwan Shri Trivandrum V.Balaji and on the Khanjira by Vidwan Nerkunam Dr S.Sankar.

Saturday 1st June 2024 and Monday 3rd June 2024 - Morning - 9:00am to 12noon

Shri Sam Swaminathan Memorial Programme and other student programmes will be presented.

Venue for all programs: Michael Park School Auditorium, 55 Amy Street, Ellerslie, Auckland.

Members: FREE

Non-members: Tickets are available for purchase. Please register your interest by emailing [email protected]

Adult per concert - $30

Child under 12y and Senior per concert - $20
